Tentative season dates: early April thru mid June. If you want to coach, your child plays on your team for FREE!
Age groups (by birthyear) are as follows:
Early Learners 2022
(100's) 2021-2020
(200's) 2019-2018
(300's) 2017-2016
(400's) 2015-2014
(500's) 2013-2012
Rec registration is $80 for one child.
Multiple child discount: $70 for each additional child.
Registration includes a team shirt and an award at the end of the season
Our Rec Soccer program will be tailored for kids born birthyears 2022-2012
Majority of games will be held on Saturday mornings/afternoons at Bill Stanton Community Park in Madison, OH 44057
Practices will be held at your individual coach's convenience (once weekly at a minimum). Please disclose any major day/time conflicts in your registration! I.e. if you know you cannot have your child attend practices on certain days of the week, please disclose that in your registration so we can plan around it!
I will do my best to group your child with any requested coach or additional players, but it is not guaranteed.
FAQ
What gear does my child need?
Your child will need: Shin guards, a ball, and soccer cleats!
Your child can bring their own soccer ball or opt to use one provided by the league. Shin guards are required to play in games. Cleats are optional in the Early Learner's age group and 100's age group and REQUIRED in all other age groups. Cleats must be soccer appropriate (no toe spike, see picture)
Don't forget something to drink at each practice and game as well!
*WE COLLECT DONTATIONS OF USED GEAR! This means that if you are in need of shin guards or cleats we will let you look through any donated goods, no questions asked! If you are wanting to donate your old used gear to the league, simply drop it off to any MSL volunteer at the Staff table on Saturdays.
What is my child's team/schedule?
Game times and specific schedules will be given to you when the season begins by your coach. Coaches are not permitted to contact kids/guardians until they have completed background checks on file, so please be patient for the safety of the kids. Please know that most games during the season will occur in the morning or early afternoon on Saturdays. Plan your other activities in advance accordingly to avoid scheduling conflicts!
Where will games/practices be held?
Stanton Park in Madison OH, all games will be held outdoors.
